WR-2001 Deep Hollowing System
This tool has been specifically designed to provide
a safe method for reaching into semi enclosed forms. The 7/8 OD shaft is filled
with lead shot to dampen vibration and will accept any of our tools as well as other brands of hollowing tools with a .500
diameter shank.
The WR-2001 Deep Hollowing System comes complete
and ready to use. You get the handle length of your choice, a Bent Shaft Boring Bar, Swivel Tip Holder with a 3/16 cutting
tool and a scraper blade.
Adjustable Side Handle
The Adjustable Side Handle is designed to give turners
additional support and control of the main handle. Simply slide the handle onto the tool shank, adjust to the desired position
and you're ready to go.
ScraperScrapers are essential,
particularly for interior clean-up work after the gouge work has been completed.
Gouge
This gouge is used for general purpose turning including bowls boxes detail work pens and other similar work.
Tool Adaptor
These adaptors
allow you to mount tools that have 5/8” shaft or 3/4" shaft. The adaptor fits in your tool handle.

Swivel Tip Holder with Cutter
This assembly mounts on the Bent Shaft Boring Bar
and is used for most of the hollow turning process and consists of a square tool bit cutter that rests in a swivel holder
allowing you to rotate and adjust the position of the cutter depending on your needs. You can pick from 3 sizes 1/8, 3/16
and 1/4". The further you get from the tool rest and the harder the wood, the smaller the tool youll want to use.
Shear Scraper Blade
This mounts on the Bent Shaft Boring Bar and can
be mounted with any of the Swivel Tip Holders. This tool allows you to take fine, ribbon-like cuts when finishing the piece.
The scraper blade can be rotated so you can use either the small or large end of it.
Stingers
Stingers use round cutting tools and are used for roughing
cuts. You can grind the bevel and use them like a gouge.
